What is Profhilo?

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology.

When injected into skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improves and restores firmness of the skin.

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. Profhilo is NOT a dermal filler.

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages. This non-surgical treatment has worthwhile results that are highly effective.

The Science behind Profhilo

Ultra-pure Hyaluronic Acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.

As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.

The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement creating a tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

Who is Profhilo Suitable for?

Ladies or men that are experiencing problems with skin laxity (crepey skin) and fine lines.

Profhilo remodels the dermal matrix in the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin fibres. This gives a tightening appearance. Those over 30+ would benefit and more noticeable results at 50+. Your suitability for Profhilo would be assessed during a consultation.

How may treatments will I need?

Two treatments are needed 4 weeks apart and for those over 60 a third treatment is recommended after a further 4 weeks. After this, boosters are only needed every 6 months to maintain the effect.

If you cease having boosters your skin will eventually return to its original state.

What does it cost?

The Lash and Beauty Clinic are able to offer an introductory offer to your first course of Profile for a reduced price of £450.

This includes two treatments that will be given 4 weeks apart.

Following this single maintenance treatments are required every 6 months to maintain the effect for £300.

Should you stop having 6 monthly maintenance treatments, the skin will return to its previous state.

Please note that Profhilo treatments must be paid for two in advance.
